Day1: Arrival to Shiraz
After breakfast, you will spend a full day touring the one of the oldest cities of ancient Persia. Shiraz has many historic and cultural sites and you will visit the Arg of Karim Khan, Pars Museum, Vakil Bath, Vakil Mosque, the Moshir Caravanserai and the Vakil Bazaar, the oldest Bazaar in Shiraz. Then continue your tour by seeing the Jahan Nama Garden, Quran Gate and the Ali-ebne Hamze Shrine, where the tiny glittering mirrors covering the entire interior will leave you breathless. You will also go to the tombs of Hafez and Saadi. It is a moving experience to be in these beautiful gardens, joining other visitors in reading poems over the graves of two of Iran’s most famous poets. Overnight stay in Shiraz.
Day2: Shiraz
Shiraz is known as the “city of roses and nightingales” and you will spend the day visiting the beautiful Narenjestan Palace, Zinat-al-Molk House and Eram Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also step into a kaleidoscope of colors at the famous Nasir al Molk Mosque and visit the Jame Atiq, one of the oldest mosques in Iran.
Day3: Shiraz-Perspolis-Bavanat
In the morning drive to Persepolis (Naghsh-e-Rostam and Naghsh-e-rajab); the ancient palaces of Persian Empire. We will continue our way to visit the Capital of ancient Persia and the Tomb of Cyrus the great. Later you will drive to Bavanat, locate in the heart of the Zagros Mountains. At Bavanat you will meet the Khamseh nomads and learn about their daily life and traditions. You will enjoy the amazing natural beauty camping overnight with the nomads and eating a delicious dinner prepared by a local cook. Overnight stay in Bavanat.
Day4: Bavanat-Yazd
In the morning, you will take a walk through the mountains to see springs and a walnut forest. Several small villages are hidden in this green, lush landscape. You will have a memorable experience spending time with Khamseh nomads learning about their customs and traditions. Leaving Bavanat you will drive to one of the oldest cities on earth, Yazd Overnight stay in a traditional Hotel.
Day5: Yazd-Mesr Desert
In the morning we start the tour in the city of Wind towers” Badgirs”, and the center of Zoroastrian culture and Persian architecture. This city is like a very old phoenix in the desert is the home of to an ancient type of evaporative cooler that are a prime example of Yakhchals, has one of the largest networks of Qanats in the world and is also one of the largest cities built approximately entirely out of adobe. Yazd has a lot to mention and we can talk nonstop about it; but it’s better to visit yourself. So, we start city tour of by visiting tower of silence, fire temple, Amir Chakhmagh complex, Laariha house and Dowlat abad garden. continue towards Mesr desert and you will stay in one of the most beautiful and traditional hotels in Iran (Bali hotel) overnight Mesr desert.
Day6: Mesr Desert
Day tour of Mesr desert located in the central Iran, to visit surrounding villages such as Garmeh with beautiful spring in middle of the desert, observations of stars at night and visiting salt lake, overnight Desert.
Day7: Mesr Desert Isfahan
Drive to Isfahan,Half-day city tour in the city that has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage and contains a wide range of Islamic Architectural styles to visit vank cathedral then walk along the Zyanderood river and Isfahan famous ancient bridges (si-o-se pol & Khadju). Overnight Isfahan
Day8: Isfahan
In the morning and after breakfast start a memorable city tour by visitng palace of forty columns or Chehel Sotun belongs to Safavid era and has very beautiful mural paintings and a pretty Persian garden, the world heritage site of Naghsh-e-Jahan Square (Imam & Lotfollah mosque, Ali Qapu Palace) . this square has been surrounded by two beautiful mosques and old bazaar of Isfahan and can entertain you for couple of hours; overnight Isfahan
Day9: Isfahan-Matinabad
Drive to Matinabad, a modern camp situated on the border between the desert and steppe, it’s located 45Km south-east of Kashan, one of the main attractions of central Iran and it’s the first and only desert Eco camp of Iran ,you will have a chance to experience safari, visiting Organic Farm ,you can stay in a traditional hotel or in tents which are Equipped with air-conditioning. Overnight Matinabad.
Day10: Matin-Tehran
Early in the morning, before the sun rise you can wake up and go to the sand hills and watch the sun rise while sitting on the sands. Back to the camp after a full breakfast is a time to enjoy the desert the way you like. After lunch, say goodbye to desert and back to either Tehran (~4 hours) Drive to Tehran on the way you will have a short stop in Kashan to visit Fin Garden, Tabatabaei and Boroujerdi House. Day11: Tehran
Full city tour to visit some highlight of Tehran as Glass and Carpet museums, then &National Museum.
Day12: Tehran-Departure
Full day visit of Tehran including Azadi tower, Sa’ad abad Castel , Tajrish Bazar, After Lunch we will visit the unique jewelry collection at the National Treasury. will have a visit to Saadabad Palace. Before returning back to the hotel. This evening you can attend a Persian night at a traditional restaurant where you can have your Iranian dinner while enjoying Persian live local music. Visit of Nature bridge and. Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
