Day 2: Tehran Full day city tour, visits to the National Archaeological Museum, National Jewels Museum, Golestan palace, the Tehran bazaar, Azadi tower, dinner and O/N Hotel.
Day 3: Tehran – Hamedan Drive to Hamedan to visit Ganj-nameh (5th century B.C. stone inscription) in Hamedan; check in hotel, O/N in Hotel.
Day 4: Hamadan – Kermanshah After breakfast our tour continues through Hamedan to visit the Ester and Mordechai (Jewish-Achaemeneid monument) Gonbad Alavian (the best Saljuq site in town); Drive to Kermanshah to visit the Anahita temple in Kangavar (the Persian goddess of fertility and war) continuing to Bisotun high-relief, the most important written document from the Achaemeneid period commissioned by Dariusch the first, arrival in Kermanshah to visit Taq-e Bostan (Sassanid high relieves) and the Takkieh Mo’aven ol Molk (a collection of tile work feast), the Kurdish Bazaar, check in hotel.
Day 5: Kermanshah – Ahwaz Breakfast, morning drive to Ahwaz to visit the ancient mounds and town of Susa (4th to 1st Millennium B.C.) later a visit of Daniel´s tomb then to the Choga-Zanbil the biggest remaining Elamite temple (ca.13th B.C.) and Haft Tappeh royal tombs (ca.16th B.C.) including the oldest arch-building in the world, lunch in Susa and in the afternoon we’ll visit the Shushtar waterfalls (Sassanid period), arrival in Ahwaz, check into 4* Pars hotel and rest overnight.
Day 6: Ahwaz – Shiraz After breakfast drive to Shiraz through the beautiful Zagross Mountains, Picnic lunch, on to visit the 3rd century Sassanid town of Bishapour and Tang-e Chogan high-relieves, check in hotel, overnight.
Day 7: Shiraz Breakfast, full day excursion to Persepolis the ceremonial capital of the Achaemeneid dynasty and Passargad, and the way back to Shiraz visit of the also Naqsh-e Rajab and Naqsh-e Rostam the burial place of the Achaemeneid kings: lunch in the local Lan-e Tavoos restaurant, back to the city, city tour of the tomb of Hafez and its traditional tea house, Arg-e Karim khan(an 18th century citadel from the Zand dynasty ) 19th century Nasir-ol-Molk pink mosque the Bazzar, check in hotel, overnight
Day 8: Shiraz
Full day tour of Shiraz to visit the Eram garden, Sa’adi or Hafiz Tomb, the Nasir ol Molk Mosque, Shah Cheragh Shrine, Atiq Mosque, Saray-e Moshir, and the Quran Gate.
Day 9: Shiraz – Kerman Breakfast, drive to Kerman, Visit of the Bakhtegan Salt Lake and the fig gardens, arrival in Kerman check into hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Kerman – Bam or Rayen-Mahan Breakfast, full day excursion to Rayen and Mahan than back to Kerman where we will visit the Ganj Ali Khan complex and the famous Kerman bazaar, overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 11: Kerman – Yazd Breakfast, drive to Yazd to visit the tower of silence (the ancient Zoroastrian burial place) the forever burning light of Yazd‘s temple with its 1500 year old fire; also visit the 12th century Jame’ mosque, 15th century Mir-Chakhmaq complex and the 18th century Dowlat-Abad garden including its magnificent Badgir (wind tower), later check into your hotel for a restful night.
Day 12: Yazd – Isfahan After breakfast you may go back to finish your sightseeing of the historical sites of the city of Yazd, drive to Isfahan to visit the early Islamic period Na’in Jame’ mosque and a Safavid traditional house, Na’in was a Jewish hub in the ancient Persia, our tour continues to the city of Isfahan.
Day 13: Isfahan Breakfast, full day city tour of the Imam Sheikh Lotfollah mosques including the Ali-Qapu palace in the Royal square (Naqsh-e Jahan), visit of the bazar, and the Chehel Sotun palace with its marvelous miniature court frescoes and garden. O/N in Hotel.
Day 14: Isfahan Breakfast, full day city tour of Sio-Se Pol and Khajou bridges, the old Jame’ mosque and Jolfa the Armenian quarter with its 17th century Cathedral (Vank), visit of the 17th century Hasht Behesht palace, check into hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 15: Isfahan Entire day at your leisure
Day 16: Isfahan – Kashan – Tehran Breakfast, early morning drive to Kashan visiting the 19th century Aqa Bozorg mosque, the 17th century Fin garden a typical Persian garden, the 19th century traditional house of Tabatabaie and the 5th millennium Teppe Sialk, a short stop in Qom to pay a visit to the holy shrine of Fatimah (we cannot enter the shrine, as it is only open to Muslims and the hub of the Shia clerics in Iran). Later check into hotel for overnight stay.
